This is Mandy Tonks' personal web site.
I'm in my late thirties and live in Warwickshire, England.
I have been housebound with M.E. for many years but have taken an Open University degree in that time as well as teaching myself about the internet, web design and programming; painting, cardmaking and papercrafts, including designing and making papermodels. I read a lot, write, develop web sites, bake my own cakes and more.
I've found the internet to be a lifeline, offering me access to the outside world even when the M.E. is at its worst. I use it for information and entertainment, to browse and shop, and to keep in touch with family and friends. Previously an avowed Mac user, I've now made the switch to Linux.
