emancipated : freed from the control of another.

emigrant : person leaving one country to reside in another.

emigration : leaving one country to reside in another.

entail : to restrict the inheritance of land to specific individuals.

enumeration : list of people.

estate : assets and liabilities of the deceased.

et al : and others.

et ux : and wife.

evidence : proof of a stated fact.

executor, exec. or exor. (abbr) : male appointed by a testator to carry out the directions and requests in his or her will, and to dispose of the property according to his testamentary provisions after his or her death.

executrix, exox. (abbr) : female appointed by a testator to carry out the directions and requests in his or her will, and to dispose of the property according to the testamentary provisions after his or her death.
