Zig Zag

Some warped parent of the first-person shoot-em-ups that now run rampant, Zig Zag has you lost in the middle of a maze-like complex with only a laser blaster for company. For reasons that I don't recall (if they were ever stated?), the maze is full of bug-eyed, big-bodied aliens with scary grins. You hear a bleep when one is nearby and have to track them down and blast them -- twice (the first time only makes their eyes bulge).

Another very simple, very addictive game that would make modern gamers roll their eyes. I'm not sure if I ever knew what the actual aim of the game was (kill all the aliens? traverse the whole maze?) but I'm sure that I never cared. Still don't.
