Lesson One - A Flower Pot
Mix crimson and aureoline so that it matches the colour of the flower pot as closely as possible. Cover the whole drawing except for the rim of the pot. While the paint is still wet, drop in a little French blue for the shaded areas. Use a dry brush to lift out any lighter areas that you may have covered. When the paint is dry, fill in the rim and interior in the same way. Add in the darker shadows from the rim and inside the pot with a dark grey. Finally, the pot's shadow can be added using a mixture of crimson, yellow ochre and French blue.
