DROP DOUGHNUTS
(Sufficient for 2 Dozen Doughnuts)
- 2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tb. melted fat
Mix and sift the dry ingredients. Beat the egg, add the milk to it, and
pour the liquid into the dry ingredients. Add the melted fat. Drop by
teaspoonfuls into hot fat and fry the same as for doughnuts.
